Following a 2-hour workshop at the University of Notre Dame, this certifies the completion of the session titled "The First Folio Teaches Teachers: Demystifying Shakespeare's Text"
A lesson designed through a slide show presentation on the purpose of stage combat in the world of Theatre and Film, the history of the study, important terminology, and safety protocol. This lesson leads up to a practical course element in which students are taught a stage slap, a stage kick, and ear- or hair-pulling with teacher guidance.

Students also received a feedback sheet after submission that provided them with the grade they received on their first effort, the grade they earned on the final effort, and goals for each student to use toward their final exam preparation.

Hybrid E-Learning
Lesson
With some students in the classroom and other students depending on watching the class virtually, this section of the lesson in Technical Theatre covers costume and fashion history, looking specifically at the 18th century following the Restoration. Students are encouraged to engage by asking questions and making connections to reviewed material.
E-Learning Lesson
Students learning entirely virtually (asynchronously) depend on a combination of pre-recorded and live video recordings from the instructor. This assignment consists of direct instruction bookending the viewing of a TedTalk by professional actor David Wenham titled "Acting: What Is It? How to Do It? Why Do It?" The lesson introduces the speaker, and finished by discussing how the concept applies to the students' work.
